The principle of mobile phone charging, simple and easy to understand

How to make boring knowledge interesting, how to make abstract things vivid, today Feitian Technology borrowed a simple model of “water release” to let everyone understand the relevant knowledge about mobile phone charging.

Water tank: Used to indicate our power grid, our huge power grid, you can imagine it as a bucket of water.

Valve: You can think of it as a charger that controls the amount of water flowing into the cup by repeatedly switching on and off. Without this valve, you can imagine the consequences. It is customary in foreign countries to call the charger Adapter, which means the role of adaptation.

Water glass: It can be imagined as our mobile phone battery, or tablet battery. Water is electricity, and it is sent through water pipes.

The mobile phone charger is actually a flyback switching power supply. Generally, there are several concepts: output voltage, output current, ripple, CV (constant voltage charging), CC (constant current charging), we can charge the mobile phone The process is understood as the process of adding water to the cup through a valve, and the charger is the function of a valve:

Output voltage: The maximum water storage height allowed by the water cup, the voltage is determined by the charger design circuit.

Output current: The size of the water pipe determines the amount of water flow, the current is imagined as water flow, and the current size is determined by the charger circuit design.

Output Ripple: The size of the wave that is caused by the water entering the cup.

Constant current charging: This is a concept that many people are confused about. You can imagine that in the state of empty water in the cup, we use a water pipe with a fixed aperture to fill the cup with water, and the water flow is constant, that is, constant flow.

Constant pressure charging: When the water cup is almost full, set a maximum water level limit, and the quantity is not allowed to exceed. By reducing the time and times of valve opening, the water flow is reduced, so as to achieve constant pressure charging. To understand the concept, also imagine that the water in the cup is inserted into a straw, and more or less water is sucked out of the cup, which is the concept of load, you are adding water at the same time as the water is still being consumed.

In this way, is the whole charging process including various concepts very clear?
